You can create a payment QR code for free in a few seconds: enter the IBAN, recipient name and amount in the generator, click Generate, then download the QR code or let it be scanned straight off the screen. No signup, no installation - just your browser.
The banking app reads all payment details from the code - IBAN, amount, payment reference and note - and pre-fills the transfer. The payer just confirms it. No more retyping account numbers and no typos.
Creating a QR code step by step
01Enter the IBANPaste the IBAN of the account that should receive the payment. The generator detects the bank and validates the format automatically. Add the exact account holder name too: banks check it when the payment is made.
02Add the amount and referencesThe amount is optional - leave it empty to create a static QR code where the payer fills it in. Add a payment reference or invoice number if you need to match the payment later.
03Choose the formatUse EPC QR (SEPA) for euro transfers across the EU. Use PAY by square for Slovak banks and SPAYD for Czech banks.
04Generate the QR codeClick Generate. The QR code is created directly in your browser - your payment details are never sent to a server.
05Download or shareDownload the QR code as an image, copy it to the clipboard, or let it be scanned straight off the screen. Put it on an invoice, in an email or on a poster.
Which QR code format to choose
Each country uses its own payment QR code standard. The generator supports all three major formats:
